Android Capable of Beating His opponent
The Android operating system dominate the growing world of smartphone. Recent data research firm IDC show, Android control 75% share of the global smartphone market in Q3 2012.
"The combination of smartphone vendors, mobile operators and users make Android shipments rising," said Ramon Llamas, an analyst with IDC who we quoted from PCMag, Friday (02/11/2012).
According to IDC, 136 million units of Android smartphones shipped in the quarter. This amount is a 91.5% increase from the same period in the previous year.
While BlackBerry occupies third place with 4.3% market share, down from the previous year by 9.5%. Successive then Symbian with Windows Phone 2.3% followed by 2%.
Apple's IOS operating system was runner up position with a market share of 14.9%. Kedatagan iPhone 5 are likely selling well predicted iOS would strengthen in the coming quarters.
According to IDC, Windows Phone has the potential to increase its market share in the next quarter. This is along the arrival of Windows Phone 8 different handsets in the market.
