BlackBerry 10 Ready to Challenge iPhone & Android


Amsterdam - Research in Motion (RIM) new generation of software claims they are ready to compete with its rivals, especially iPhone and Android. It was stated CEO of RIM, Thorsten Heins, in the event BB Devcon Europe.

"Smartphone market is still young and there is a huge opportunity for us, both in consumer and business sectors," said Heins, in front of around 2,000 developers who attended the BB Devcon.

Canadian vendor is losing significant market share of Android and Apple. But they hope the next generation of the BlackBerry OS QNX-based 10 will be able to talk a lot. 10 planned to release BlackBerry handsets this year.

"It takes time for BlackBerry for the transition to a QNX-based operating system, but if it is ready, this software will provide an exciting experience for consumers," argued Kevin Michaluk, CrackBerry.com founder of the website.

At the developer, RIM promised Heins will hear their opinions and will continue to innovate. He's promising technology on the BlackBerry 10 will bring a new standard for home, car, smartphones and tablets.

As quoted by Reuters, Heins not tell when exactly a BlackBerry handset 10 is introduced. But he promised in 2012, they will launch it to the public.

"IOS Apple is well developed, but this time his life became the oldest operating system, older than Android, webOS, Windows Phone, BlackBerry, while 10 is the latest mobile platform," said Kevin.

Meanwhile, Belle attended the Symbian Nokia N8 cs ..

Though now focus on making handsets with Windows Phone operating system, Symbian Nokia has not forgotten. They announced the Symbian update later called Belle or Belle for some Nokia handsets.
