RIM Launches BlackBerry 10 End of January 2013

New York, U.S.New Launches BlackBerry - Research In Motion (RIM) has finally set a date of January 30, 2013 as the day of the launch of the BlackBerry OS platform 10 (BB10).

"Our team has worked tirelessly to bring innovative features to our customers, combined with best-in-class browser, a rich ecosystem of applications and advanced multimedia features. All workflow will be integrated with a customer experience that will not be found in other smartphones today, "said Thorsten Heins, RIM President and CEO, in a press statement which we quoted on Tuesday (11/13/2012).

In launching that will be held simultaneously in several countries, the Canadian vendor will also introduce two BlackBerry smartphones with OS BB10 first.

One of RIM's smartphones will be introduced at the end of January 2013 or later could have touchscreen handset codenamed London. BlackBerry London will be paired with a battery-powered 1800 mAh, 1.5 GHz processor, 1 GB RAM, 16 GB storage and 8 MP camera.

BB10 launch date has indeed been awaited for a long time. RIM has introduced BB10 to developers last May 2012. Then in September, RIM also provides updates BB10 platform such as updates to the home screen, the BlackBerry Hub, BlackBerry Messenger (BBM), and other features.
