Microsoft retired Windows Mobile Soon

Windows Mobile had become the pride of the Microsoft operating system in the smartphone realm. But the arrival of Windows Phone 7 (WP 7) makes Windows Mobile increasingly marginalized and is now close to 'death'.

Developers will no longer work especial application in Windows Mobile, either prices or other information. While consumers can still download or buy apps from the Marketplace.

Microsoft declared its support for Windows Mobile 6.x will end up starting July 15, 2011. As an impact, Microsoft will no longer accept new applications or application updates since that date.

"The most annoying thing is the way they dropped the consumers who buy this software. I do not imagine anyone would buy anything from 6.5 marketplace, if they know what happened," said Anthony Wieser of Wieser Software LTD.

Meanwhile, Windows Phone 'Mango' Promises 500 New Features,.

Since Microsoft announced that the 'Mango' is actually a Windows Phone 7.5 to be more feature-rich update, much to imagine what could be obtained Windows Phone users when updates are released.

At Microsoft's developer forum in Tokyo, Japan earlier this week. Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer divulge little information on Mango. Interestingly, the update is said to be providing 500 new features.

Ballmer did not explain what new features will be present in this update. Thus, the public still have to wait until Microsoft release more detailed information.

Do not forget, Microsoft also showed some toolbaru for app developers such as private and beta. Mango development tools immediately available to developers of Windows Phone later this week.

Previously, Microsoft has reported that Windows Phone 7.5 will be integrated with Bing, Windows Live Messenger Support, as well as Facebook, AIM, visual voicemail and support SkyDrive.
