What's New in Windows Phone 'Mango'
"Seven months ago, we had a mission to bring smatphone function easier to use. With Mango, Windows Phone is conducting a major step," said Andy Lees, President of Mobile Communications Business, Microsoft Corp., according to the release Micosoft.
Microsoft has officially introduced their WP7 OS update named 'Mango' to the public. Well, what an interesting feature that is added to the update of Windows phones later.
Lees explains there are four important part in Mango update this time. They are: Communication, Intelligent Applications, Internet Browser, and Ecosystem.
Intelligent Applications:
- Settling Live tile more varied
- Ability to multi-tasking
Communication:
- WP7 will have a contact group
- Twitter and LinkedIn will terintegerasi
- Hands-Free Messaging: Speech-to-text and text-to-speech
Ecosystem:
- Acer, ZTE and Fujitsu as a new vendor WP7 adopters
- Presence of Free Tools for Windows Phone developers
Internet Browser:
- The presence of Internet Explorer 9 (IE9)
- Bing search support with local content
- The presence of Bing Vision, Voice and Music Search
- Presence of Quick Cards: search product, movie, event, or location by menampilakan review, price, and other relevant information.
Meanwhile, As we quoted from WPCentral, on the sidelines of the event the Windows Phone 7 (WP7) Mango Event, Andy Lees, President of Mobile Communications Business, Microsoft had to say about the latest developments workmanship Nokia's Windows Phone 7.
Previous rumors that Nokia boss Stephen Elop known to carry a prototype Nokia Windows phone in his pocket, when watching a hockey game. This further signifies the readiness of Nokia WP7 mengsusung to market.
According to Lees, Nokia is currently working with the latest update WP7 Mango on their Lab. The phone is expected to be present at the end of 2011.
Two Nokia phones with OS later reportedly is the first WP7 Nokia W7 who have a body like the HTC Mozart and the Nokia W8 which is the Windows version of the Nokia N8.
