BlackBerry Do Not Android OS

Research in Motion (RIM) was rumored to be using the Android OS on the BlackBerry. But believing BlackBerry 10 better, they ultimately do not be tempted to use the OS 'green robot' it.

BlackBery 10 is an operating system based on QNX platform. This platform has been used in the BlackBerry Playbook tablet.

"That's why we decided not to use Android or another platform, because we know the QNX platform, the multi-threaded capabilities of real-time multitasking, we were able to create a very different experience awaited the market," said CEO of RIM, Thorsten Heins.

"For now happening duopoly in the market. Was Android, and Android together with Samsung and there is Apple. However consumers want choice, operators want choice and we will provide a pretty good choice in the 1st quarter of 2013," he said.

Heins admitted the current Android and Apple dominate the market. But he believes BlackBerry 10 would be a good alternative in the future.

BlackBerry Flow is multitasking capabilities on BlackBerry 10. Default home screen in BlackBerry 10 is multitasking area where up to 8 applications can be run simultaneously.

Heins claims BlackBerry 10 will bring the experience is completely different from other platforms. For example, a feature called BlackBerry Flow.

"We are not in a race specification, does not mean that (car) six-cylinder is better than the four-cylinder, we are in a race about the user experience," he said.

Our quoted from Cnet, Thursday (18/10/2012), Heins said also that RIM does not want to shoot superior about the specification. But more to the user experience. Heins also gave an example in the field of vehicle.
