Nokia Upgrades Local Transportation Applications


Finland - Nokia releases upgrades for local transportation search service. Nokia Transport, application, now works in more than 550 cities.

Reported by Cellular-news and we were quoted on Tuesday (09/10/2012), Nokia Transport features for Windows Phone version 2.3 is more intuitive and equipped transport modes and new icons.

This application allows users to type in their destination, and then will perform the local public transport options to get there. Nokia Transport also integrates directives to guide the user to the station or bus stop.

For cities scheduled public transport, Nokia Transport also provides routing timetable. This will allow users to determine the total time spent from the start set, transit, until arriving at the destination.

Moreover, the POI icons that appear on the History such as hotels, restaurants, shops, the easier for users to identify their destination. Movement to the left or right swipe the main screen will display the previous destination.

With 109 cities around the world, most popular urban cities that have been published and available public transportation schedules supported supported with timetable routing.
