Brand Apple On Price iPad Mini


Apple iPad Mini ready to be sold for USD 329. Although more expensive than the tablet PC competitors, this product is predicted to still sell well because of strong Apple brand.

"The price they hold good for them and they do not put a price too low," said Cozza which we have quoted from the Inquirer, Thursday (10/25/2012).

Roberta Cozza, an analyst with research firm Gartner, said that Apple was deliberately set their prices high enough mini iPad. For, if the price is cheaper, the Apple brand can be damaged because it felt a premium.

"They define the tablet market with the iPad Mini 10 inch but this product is more a reaction to them," said Cozza.

Cozza stated iPad Mini is not innovation. But is Apple's response to the trend that is happening in the tech industry, where some vendors make small tablets.

"Buyers will consider two major things, design and brand, when choosing a tablet., I think, the Apple brand is stronger than the Nexus brand," he said.

Cozza assess the iPad Mini will still be a success thanks to the Apple brand. Although there are competing Android products at lower prices, such as the Nexus 7 and Kindle Fire.

"I think this time Apple also has the strongest ecosystem. Ecosystem iPhone, iPad and now iPad Mini more powerful in terms of applications optimized form factor is appropriate," he concluded.
