Microsoft 'Cheaters' Questions WP Application Growth

In the seven months to April's record number of applications on WP7 has crossed 12,000. The question is whether these applications really useful for users WP7? Especially the application is free.

Growth in application Windows Phone 7 (WP7) is quite fast in the Marketplace. Each month there are about 1,500 new applications, the number of active developers around 5,000 people.

If we look at the free apps category, there are definitely a lot of applications with the same name. Applications comic called 'Atalante' for example. The comic has a title like: Atalante T2.3, T1.1 Atalante, Atalante T1.2, and recorded as the application itself, when in fact only the upgrade alone.

When we browse the WP7 Marketplace, we must find the category 'Top Apps'. Scroll to the right then we will find the top categories of free apps, top paid apps, and so on.

The growth of Microsoft applications is very fast. The question, of 1500 new applications per month, how many apps are actually useful to the user?

Perhaps this is part of Microsoft's strategy to realize the WP7 market, IDC predicted in 2015 approaching Android. Our quoted from Neowin, Atalante is just one instance of the application. There are still about 50 other similar applications and is predicted to be growing.
