Technology POE (Power Over Ethernet)

In a company usually issues often thrown aside from cost is a matter of power usage. In order to answer the above two problems, Hewlett-Packard (HP) try to offer solutions with the launch of low-power thin client.

Practically, this device you will not find the cable other than a LAN cable is plugged. Though he has used a screen measuring 18.5 inches with a resolution of 1366x768 pixels and a smart high-performance zero client in tow.

Just imagine, this computer only requires 13 watts of power to operate. Remarkably, we simply install a wired LAN - without being connected to a power outlet - to be able to turn it on because it has been supported Thin Client technology POE (Power Over Ethernet).

Introduced by HP as the T410 Series AiO (All in One), HP Thin Client Zero Client given the designation Smart is powered by a high-performance processor Texas Instruments TMS320DM8148 ARM Cortex-speed 1 GHz processor and DDR3 RAM with a capacity of 1 GB. Even Smart Zero Client can support dual displays up to full HD resolution which is 1920x1080 pixels.

"Power is very low on the Thin Client was made possible because of HP's request exclusively to Amlogic to concern about power consumption, but the emphasis still provide high performance," said Subin Joseph as President Director of Printing & HP Personal Systems Groups, in Jakarta.

In addition, he has supported all three leading virtualization protocol that Microsoft, Citrix, and VMware. This is possible because the T410 AiO has been supported by the Digital Signal Processor Acceleration technology and ARM Neon extensions, so as to bring the experience and reliability of like using a desktop computer.

Furthermore, the Thin Client T410 has pinned AiO software engine, called HP Velocity. Software engine can improve network performance in a virtual desktop environment.

HP T410 AiO Zero Client Smart is scheduled to be available in the market from the end of October 2012 with a starting price of 3.3 million.

Antonni, as the Thin Client Market Development Manager, explains, using HP's flagship device, the confidentiality of the data a company claimed to be secure because all data centralized in one location, instead of being on any computer that can not keep our eye on. Thin Client which is operated by the worker is a desktop virtualization.

For example, after we do a scan on the printer, via the menu in which the results of the scan can be directly uploaded to the Internet using a WiFi connection that has been owned by the printer.

Together with the launch, HP also offers other solutions to corporate customers and retail customers. One is a printer MFP (Multifunction Printer) to work 'independently', because to operate it we no longer need a computer.
